The New Version of The KISS ORM for Android has Arrived

Software Tree announces version 2.0 of JDXA ORM product for Android

Campbell, Calif. May 15, 2017 - Software Tree, an innovator in data integration technologies, today announced JDXA 2.0, a versatile and lightweight Object Relational Mapping (ORM) software framework for Google’s Android platform. JDXA significantly simplifies and accelerates the development of mobile apps by eliminating the need for low-level coding that involves tedious SQL programming. On top of an already available comprehensive set of ORM features, JDXA 2.0 adds performance improvements and new APIs to further provide flexible mapping capabilities like bulk updates, lazy fetching, and auto-initialization of primary key attributes.

JDXA offers a non-intrusive POJO (Plain Old Java Objects) friendly programming model to Android developers. Based on some well thought-out KISS principles, JDXA easily supports complex object modeling including inheritance, one-to-one, one-to-many, and many-to-many relationships. JDXA also offers convenient persistence for JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) objects.

“JDXA is one of the easiest Android ORM frameworks I have worked with so far,” says Lakitha Samarasinghe, Mobile Tech Lead at Fidenz. “I was up and running with JDXA in literally a few minutes. I am really impressed by its non-intrusiveness and comprehensive feature set, especially its support for JSON object persistence.”

“We take delight in increasing developers’ productivity with practical products,” says Damodar Periwal, Founder, President & CEO of Software Tree. “Thanks to great feedback from many JDXA users, we have carefully enhanced our product and the associated documentation. These enhancements and many new sample projects will make it easier for mobile developers to write intuitive object-oriented code to efficiently access SQLite databases on Android devices.”

A free 30-day evaluation version of JDXA ORM is available from Software Tree’s website at https://www.softwaretree.com.
